The Hogball may change your thinking when fishing near and offshore. Originally designed to fish with worm hooks in freshwater rocky bottom, Captain Chappy noticed it has a very unique feature. The ability to keep a bait where you want it, be it on the bottom on slowly falling through the water column, gave this jighead an advantage to catching more fish. It quickly turned into a favorite when targeting hogfish, who always eat right on the bottom, thus inheriting the name the "Hogball".
